Hair colorist in Rishon LeZion Polina Budaeva — highlights, AirTouch, blonde, color and haircuts

Send a photo of your hair and a photo of the color you like. I’ll tell you honestly what will work on your hair and give you an idea of the price.

About

I look at your hair before I look at the palette. Clients come to me after black and red, with yellow tones, after coloring that went wrong. First we match expectations: I tell you what I see in the photo of the color you like — sometimes we see different things. Then I’ll tell you honestly what will work on your hair and in how many stages. I don’t promise anyone the same result.

What clients come to me with

  1. Going lighter or blonde A soft transition, AirTouch, fine highlights, warm or cool blonde without yellow. I match the shade to your hair and to what it has been colored with before. Ask
  2. Getting rid of yellow or orange Sometimes toning is enough, with no lightening: the color evens out and old light strands stop standing out. Ask
  3. Moving on from dark or red A natural shade or warm blonde is often possible in one visit. Ash blonde takes several stages. I do a strand test first, then we discuss a suitable shade, the plan and the price. Ask
  4. Bringing depth back to the color From faded or dull to a rich natural shade, even from roots to ends. Ask
  5. Fixing color that went wrong Yellow, patches, a hard line at the roots. Complex cases I look at in person, with a test strand, and only then suggest a plan. Ask
  6. A small change Refresh the shade or try something new without a drastic change — say, a soft rose blonde. Ask
  7. A haircut or a treatment Women’s haircuts, in-salon hair treatments and help choosing home care. I don’t do keratin. Ask

Before — after

The same client before and after. Photos are only cropped; the hair color is not retouched.

  1. The same bob before coloring: red with dark roots
    before
A bob in a natural light-brown shade, seen from behind
    after

From red to her own natural shade

We took the red out to copper, then matched her natural shade — the roots will grow out without a line.

  2. The same hair before coloring: faded and reddish

Long straight hair in dark chocolate, seen from behind
    after

    Dark chocolate and a cut

From faded and reddish to an even dark chocolate, finished with a fresh cut.

  3. The same bob before toning: orange tones and light strands
    before
An even bob in a natural light-brown shade
    after

    Toned to natural

No lightening: toning took out the orange, and the old light strands no longer stand out.

Light curly hair in a calm shade, seen from the side

Yellow, patches and harsh roots — now a calm light shade, and the curls stayed lively.

Send me on WhatsApp a photo of your hair in daylight — front, lengths and roots — and a photo of the color you like. Tell me what you’ve colored it with before.

  2. Matching expectations

I’ll tell you what I see in the photo of the color you like — sometimes we see different things — and what will work on your hair. I’ll suggest options and give you an idea of the price. Complex cases I invite in for a consultation with a test strand.

I’ll explain how to keep the shade, help you choose home care and tell you when to refresh the roots and the tone.

What clients write afterwards

Translated from Russian

Nobody has ever taken such care of me and my hair. And that’s the truth…

I want to thank you for such an attentive, personal approach! For your skill and your advice. For such fine attention to details and wishes. It was a real pleasure, and I felt so comfortable. I’m very, very happy and want to come back — and even to experiment, which for me can be a very hard decision…

Client, Instagram message, July 2025

Bottom line: compliments for me, and applause for you, Polina!

Thank you for really getting into my situation and changing my look so beautifully! I’m very happy. Even strangers pay me compliments.

Good to know

How much does coloring cost?

For standard services — a haircut, toning, roots — I’ll give you the price right away. Complex coloring depends on length, thickness and your current color: I’ll give you an idea after your photos, and for going out of black after a test strand. The price already includes the dye, in-salon care during coloring and a blow-dry.

What should I send on WhatsApp?

Two photos: your hair now, in daylight — front, lengths and roots — and the color you like. And tell me what you’ve colored it with before: henna, black dye, box dye — it affects the result.

Can I move on from black or red in one visit?

Often, yes — if your goal is a natural shade or warm blonde. Going from black or red to ash blonde takes more than one visit. What we can achieve on your hair, and how many stages it will take, depends on your coloring history, your hair’s condition and a strand test. After the test, we discuss a suitable shade, the plan and the price.

Do I need to come in for a consultation first?

For regular coloring, photos on WhatsApp are enough. Before going out of black and in complex cases I invite you to the studio: I do a test strand and tell you honestly if the coloring could harm your hair. Only then do I decide whether to take it on.

Do you cover gray?

Yes: I cover gray fully or blend it into highlights. And I’ll say it upfront: with gray hair, the roots need refreshing about once a month.

Is it only color?

No. Also women’s haircuts, in-salon hair treatments and help choosing home care. I don’t do keratin.

Where is the studio, and is there parking?

110 Herzl St, Rishon LeZion, at the Olei HaGardom junction. There’s free parking. Directions open in Waze, Google Maps or Moovit.

How do I book?

Message me on WhatsApp and send the two photos. We’ll talk about what you want, I’ll give you an idea of the price and offer free slots.
